Every Monday through Friday,
Adharshila hosts tuition courses to
help students build academic
confidence.
Students attend these courses after
school and during their summer
vacations. They receive help in all
subjects, including English,
Science, Social Studies and Maths.
Adharshila tutors students of all
ages, from nursery to middle school.
Our tutors, volunteers from Lady
Shri Ram College, empower students
with the skills to finish school and
pursue a college degree.
After the tuition program’s
development in 2005, Adharshila
founded its library in June 2007 to
help students extend their studies.
The center’s library has a
collection of over 1,000 books in
all topics including math, science,
English, computers, fiction and
non-fiction.
According to Adharshila volunteer
Ritika Puri, “these children are
some of the most charismatic,
intelligent, motivated, and
ambitious individuals that I have
ever met. Never have I encountered
students with so much passion to
learn.”
